In order to keep students reading this summer, there are two summer reading programs available to DeKalb County students.  Students are expected to read 30 minutes daily.  This way they do not lose skills gained over the previous school year.

Public Library

DeKalb County Public Library is offering On your Mark, Get Set...Read to elementary school students.  This program rewards students for reading over the summer.  Prizes will be given out through the library.  Please visit http://dekalblibrary.org/kids/srp for more information.

Get Georgia Reading
